Why join Stampin’ Up!?
Everyone’s reason for joining Stampin’ Up! is different, but if you ask other Demonstrators the most common answer is “for the discount” As a Demonstrator you get an immediate 20% discount on all your favourite products , but after being a demo for a while you realise the benefits are much more than discount!
You can grow a business around your day job and your family, sharing your passion with others. You can build a team of like-minded people, make new friends and meet amazing men and women who all share the values of Stampin’ Up!
You can earn extra money to help pay bills, earn Incentive Trips, free products and attend Stampin’ Up! events – something that you have to experience for yourself!
Do I have to demonstrate at parties or have classes?
In a word No! You can buy your favourite products to meet your quarterly minimums, or you can sell products to friends, family or advertise to attract a customer base. You can have an online presence and link directly to your online shop. Many Demonstrators have a blog and Social Media pages to advertise that they are a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.
I thought I wouldn’t be able to run classes or events but it has actually brought me more joy and pleasure than simply crafting for myself! I can provide guidance in designing posters, creating an online presence and hosting a party or class. Stampin’ Up! also have a wealth of online resources to help you get started.
What do I have to do to stay a demo?
All Stampin’ Up! demonstrators have to to place orders of £225 (after VAT) every three months, SU refer to it as CSV per quarter. That usually works out as one party or class every quarter.
What happens if I don’t meet that minimum?
If you don’t meet this minimum you go from being an active demo to a pending status. This means you have a month to make your minimum but if you don’t you simply stop being a demo – that’s it! You get to keep your products that you purchased in your Starter Kit as well!
What if I want to re-join?
You can re-join as a Stampin’ Up! demo anytime but if it’s within 45 days you have to sign up under your previous upline (the person you joined Stampin’ Up! under). It still costs £99 for the kit and any special offers that might be happening at the time.
How much is the kit and what is in it?
The kit costs £99 and you choose £130 in products – sometimes, such as during Sale-A-Bration, you get extra benefits when signing up! You can choose anything you like from the current catalogues, excluding hostess sets or Sale-A-Bration items.
Can I earn any other benefits?
You can earn volume rebate at the end of each month. Volume rebate depends on your Sales and can increase your commission by up to 15% of your monthly sales total. You can also earn a percentage of your team’s sales and bonuses for team or personal promotions. Also if you place an order over £150 or you host a party with sales of over £150 you start earning Stampin’ Rewards, which is product credit you can use to purchase anything you like! Stampin’ rewards also applies to your customers so they can earn credit with orders over £150 as well!
Do I have to live in the same area as you?
No! Many Demonstrators have geographically spread teams, and they meet via online meetings and Stampin’ Up! events such as On Stage or team training days. Most teams keep in contact via Facebook and email as well.
What can you offer me as my Upline?
My team is small so it is very personal. I am available to give support and offer guidance and help as much as I can, I want to help you achieve whatever your goal is. I am available via email/message every day and I do my best to respond as quickly as I can. I can provide tutorials and help with class projects as well. I plan to offer incentives to my team members when you reach a certain level as well. I can offer as much support and assistance as you need but I can’t do it for you!
